Doha: Asian Champions Qatar will face Haiti in the first round of the 2023 Gold Cup on June 25th at the NRG Stadium in Houston.
The maroons next match will pit them against Honduras at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on the 29th of the same month.
The AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas will be the venue of Qatar's final group stage encounter, which will be played against continental powerhouse Mexico.
The Gold Cup brings together national teams from North and Central America and the Caribbean and has traditionally been dominated by the United States and Mexico.
Qatar will take part for the second time in the tournament as a guest side. In their debut two years ago, they had lost to eventual champions the United States in the semi-finals. This year’s tournament will take place from June 16 and July 16.
