Doha: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) kicked off the 2025-2026 season by celebrating its annual "Back to School" initiative, a key part of its social responsibility. This year's event was notably different, featuring a diverse and expanded two-day schedule.

The first day saw the QFA delegation visit the residential complex for Gaza children in Al Thumama. The team, which included Fadala Ibrahim Al Fadala, Hamad bin Khalifa bin Hassan Al Thani, Nabil Qaid, Munira Abu Sharb, and Jawhara Al-Qahtani from Marketing & Communications, distributed school bags, took photos with the children.

Mr. Khalid Mubarak Al-Kuwari, Director of Marketing & Communications at the QFA, emphasized the importance of the event: "Our Back to School celebration is part of the Association's strategic social responsibility program. Schools are a vital part of our marketing plans, and our relationship with them is fruitful and long-standing. This annual tradition allows us to bring happiness to our students at the start of every academic year."

He further added, "This initiative is one of many community programs run by the QFA, specifically activating our 'Friends of the Association in Schools' program. It strengthens our year-round communication with educational institutions. With many future events and important matches ahead—including the national team's Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup in October—our students will be integral participants. We wish all our students a successful and outstanding academic year."

The second day included a visit to Tariq Bin Ziyad School, under the Qatar Foundation, in the Al Sadd area, along with distributions to other schools nationwide. The visit resonated deeply, underscoring the QFA's pride in its strong partnerships with schools and civil society groups. These celebrations are the result of distinguished partnerships that have yielded tangible results for years.
