DOHA: Qatar coach Djamal Belmadi on Sunday announced a batch of 23 players who will be appearing in a trainingcamp in Zurich, Switzerland, later this month. The squad coached by Djamel Belmadi will start the 10-day camp on July 30th, it was announced. Qatar has two major assignments in the next few months beginning with the Gulf Cup later this year and the 2015 Asian Cup to be held in Australia in January next year. Qatar will also play a friendly against La Liga side Malaga CF during their training camp on August 6. The selected players are: Mohammed Mousa, Khalid Moftah, Ismail Mohammed, Louise Martin, Sebastian Soria and Karim Budief “Lekhwiya,” Meshaal Abdullah, Abdul Rahman Mohammed, “Al Ahli”, Musab Mahmoud, Mahmoud Ismail, Ahmed Abdel-Maksoud, “Umm Salal” Qasem Burhan, Bilal Mohammed, “Al Gharafa.” Khokhi Boualem, Abdulaziz Hatem “Al Arabi”, Sufian Ahmed, Abdul Qadir Ilyas, Abdul Rahman Abakar, Khaled Abdul Rauf, “El Jaish”, Abdul Karim Hassan, Ibrahim Majid, Ali Asad, Ali Mahdi “Al Sadd.” The football season in Qatar will begin on August 13 with the Sheikh Jassim Cup match between Al Sadd and Lekhwiya at Abdullah bin Thani Stadium.
