Qatar national team to host Lebanon in October friendly

DOHA: Qatar will face Lebanon on October 9, the Qatar Football
Association (QFA) confirmed on Sunday.

The international friendly is part of the preparations of the national
side that will feature at 2014 Gulf Cup in Riyadh in November.

Qatar will also play against Uzbekistan on October 4.

On October 14, Qatar play Australia in another friendly.

Qatar's last international friendly before the 2014 Gulf Cup will be
against Korea on November 6.

Earlier this month, Qatar played a goalless draw against Morocco in
Casablanca before going down to Pero 2-0 at home.

Qatar is coached by Djamel Belmadi who is also preparing his side for
the 2015 Asian Cup to be held in Australia in January next year.
