DOHA: Qatar's Olympic squad has lost 1-3 toKyrgyzstan in their
build-up for the GCC Under-23 Championship which will be held in
Bahrain from January 16 to 26.
Coached by Fahad Thani, Qatar will played the friendly at Aspire Academy.
The squad has been undergoing rigorous training since December 30 at
the same venue.
Qatar will play against South Africa on January 10, it was confirmed on Tuesday.
After the Bahrain event, Qatar will switch their attention to the Rio
Olympic Games qualifiers.
Qatar have been paired with Kuwait and the UAE in Group A while Saudi
Arabia, Bahrain and Oman will feature in Group B.
