MANCHESTER: Ireland's U21 on Friday beat Qatar's Olympic squad 4-1 in
a friendly at Bury’s Gigg Lane.
A first half double from Sean Kavanagh added to Alan Browne’s second
half strike and a late Harry Charsley finish, was enough to secure the
victory for the Irish side, details revealed on Saturday.

their own on a chilly evening in Greater Manchester.

squad fresh ahead of Tuesday’s clash with Andorra.
Qatar reduced the deficit midway through the second half as Almoez Ali
Abdulla fired past the outstretched glove of Eric Grimes.
