DOHA: Playing with aggression late in the match, Qatar juniors crushed Mauritania 3-1 to reach the semifinals of the Arab Cup. Abdul Rashid (80), Khaled Al-Naimi (85) and Khalid Munir (90) scored the three goals in the last 10 minutes of the match played at Al Wakrah Stadium. Midfielder Mohamed Salem Mohamed scored the only goal for Mauritania in the 6th minute. Qatar will next play Djibouti knowing that a win will guarantee first place. Qatar's next game is on Sunday.
