DOHA: Qatar and Palestine will lock horns in the opening match of the
First West Asia football Federation championship for U-23 teams.
The match at Abdullah bin Khalifa Satadium will be the the first in Group ,
Which also includes Jordan and Yemen.
Group B will see Iran, Saudi Arabia and Iran together while Group C has
teams from the UAE, Oman and Syria.
The competition will take place from September 30-October 14.
In Qatar’s second game of the event, Qatar play Jordan on October 3.
Qatar’s last group phase game will be against Yemen on October 6.
The semi-finals of the event will take place on October 10 while the
title clash will be held on October 14.
