RIYADH: Qatar on Thursday trained for their Gulf Cup semifinal against
Oman but without influential skipper Mohammed Bilal, team officials
said.
Bilal suffered an injury during Qatar's goalless draw against Bahrain on Wednesday.
Qatar coach Djamel Belmadi headed the training session.
Coach Belmadi is still hopeful of playing Bilal but he will wait on
the medical staff's report before making any final decision.
Qatar will take on group B leaders Oman in the semi-final this Sunday.
In the second semifinal, Saudi Arabia will face the UAE.
The Gulf Cup final will be held on November 26.
