DOHA: Qatar will host Uzbekistan on October 4 and Australia on the 14th of the same month this was announced by Qatar Football Association (QFA) on Monday.
The October friendlies will be part of Djamel Belmadi’s plans for the
national squad preparing for this year’s Gulf Cup to be held in
November and next year’s Asian Cup.
It was also announced that Belmadi – who took over as the Qatar coach
in March – will head national team training prior to the two friendlies.
