Qatar to take part in Saudi Arabia U23 international tournament

Doha: The Qatar U23 national team is set to play two matches in the Saudi Arabia U23 International tournament, which will be held in Dammam, Eastern Province. Both matches, against Australia on November 18 and Jordan on November 21, will be played at Prince Saud Bin Jalawi Stadium. The top three teams at the AFC U-23 Asian Cup Qatar 2024 will represent the AFC at the Paris 2024 Olympics, while the fourth-place team will play in an AFC-CAF play-off match for the final qualification spot. Coach Ildio Vale has called up a roster of 26 players for this event; the players are: Goalkeepers: Amir Hassan, Ali Nader, Yousif Abdullah Ahmed Riyadh. Defenders: Ahmed Riyadh, El Hashemi Hassan, Hassan Al Ghareeb, Abdullah Al Ali, Saifuldeen Hassan, Abdullah Yousif, Abdulrahman Rashid, Ali Al Marri and Mohammed Ayash.
