DOHA: The Qatar youth side on Monday landed in Iran for a training camp in preparation for the Asian Cup to be held in Myanmar in October.
The players have been accompanied by backroom staff and the coach.
Qatar is scheduled to play two friendlies against Iran on September 18 and 20, Qatar Football Association (QFA) officials said.
Coach Felix Sanchez and assistant coach Abdul Razzaq are also in Iran for the week-long training camp.
Other officials in the group include Abdul Rahman, Abdullah Saleh Al-Yami and Abdullah Saleh Al Sulaiti.
