DOHA: The Qatar Football Association (QFA), in cooperation with Qatar Shell, the leading sponsor of the QFA, are organizing a variety of events for the fans at the Katara Cultural Village during the FIFA Arab Cup. Through the latest initiative, Qatar Shell continues its fruitful partnership with QFA to support the national teams. The Koora Time venue in Katara will reflect the efforts of the QFA and Qatar Shell in using football as a vehicle to ensure healthy lifestyles for future generations by spreading the culture of practicing sports and keeping fit. The events are varied and renewed, as there is a screen showing documentaries on Qatari football and Qatar Shell programmes and various sports stations for different ages. Khalid Al-Kuwari, Director of Marketing Department of QFA, said: "These events are part of QFA's vision and strategy in enhancing the scope of community participation, which comes with the support of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, the President of QFA.
