DOHA: The Board of Trustees of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) Awards approved the final nominees for the Best Awards for the 2021-2022 season after completing the screening process of nomination forms.
The results were as follows:
1. Nominees for the Best Under-23 Player Award – Hashem Ali (Al Rayyan), Homam Al Ameen (Al Gharafa), Salah Zakaria (Al Duhail).
2. Nominees for the Best Coach Award – Younes Ali (Al Arabi), Marques Lopez (Al Wakrah), Luis Castro (Al Duhail).
3. Nominees for the Best Player Award – Michael Olunga (Al Duhail), Akram Afif (Al Sadd), Jacinto Dala (Al Wakrah).
The Mansoor Muftah Award for the Top Scorer will go to Al Duhail striker Michael Olunga (24 goals).
The Football for All and Best Referees Awards winners will be announced along with the final awards results.
