DOHA: Qatar Football Association (QFA), Secretary General Mansoor Al Ansari on Monday welcomed in his office the national futsal squad. QFA Director of Football Abdullah Esai was also present during the meeting. Al Ansari congratulated the national squad which finished in second spot during the recent GCC Championship held in Bahrain. The backroom staff of the Qatar national squad was also present. Al Ansari praised the efforts of head coach Michel Straz, saying the team prepared well and fought with equal courage. He urged the squad to keep working hard at future events. Al Ansari said Qatar has built a strong futsal squad thanks to the efforts of QFA President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani. Al Ansari said the team was performing well at top events.
