QFA chief attends Soccerex Asian Forum

DOHA: Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of QatarFootball Association (QFA), is featuring at the Soccerex Asian Forum currently taking place in Jordan. Re-elected to another four-year term late last year, Sheikh Hamad was at the helm of the association during its finest hour when the country won the right to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup. With the QatarFootball Association now full steam ahead in developing every aspects of the game of football including stadia, fan engagement, grass roots, facilities, coaching, logistics, hospitality and performance, the Asian Forum is the event to discover the numerous business opportunities on offer. The Forum will bring together leading figures from the world of Asian football as well as other international football experts to discuss the development of the game across Asia. The conference agenda will include a review of the opportunities for growth and the challenges facing Asian football. Other conference topics will include league and player development as well as women’s football, with Jordan set to host the FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup. The meeting are held from May 13 through the 15th of the same month.
