DOHA: Qatar Football Association (QFA) on Monday honourd senior
players and officials for rendering yeoman's services in the field of
football.
At a special ceremony attended by QFA President Sheikh Hamad Bin
Khalifa Bin Al-Thani, souvenirs and certificates werehanded over
to players representing clubs and country.
Former QFA and AFC chairman Mohammed bin Hammam was among those
who attended the event.
Egyptian great Abdel Moneim Al-Hajj, former coaches who worked at
clubs like Al-Rayyan and Al Nahda alsodelivered speeches on their
careers and about football in general.
Muhammad Ali, Mohammed Ghanim Al Rumaihi, Abdullah Obaid Juma,
Mohammed Mubarak Al Mohannadi, Abdullah Saad Al Sulaiti, Ibrahiem Khalfan ,Abdul
Razzaq Al-Obaid and Saeed Al Mesnadwere also present.
