Doha: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) held its General Assembly Meeting in Doha on Monday. His Excellency Mr Jassim bin Rashid Al Buainain, President of the Qatar Football Association, chaired the session, which was attended by QFA Secretary General Mansoor Al Ansari, members of the Executive Committee, and representatives from various clubs.
The meeting began with the approval of the minutes from the previous General Assembly held on June 1, 2023. This was followed by the adoption of the annual report detailing the QFA's activities over the past year.
A highlight of the meeting was the acknowledgment of Qatar’s second consecutive Asian Cup triumph. President Al Buenain expressed his gratitude to the General Assembly members and the clubs for their contributions to this remarkable achievement. He emphasized the importance of early preparation for the upcoming season to build on their success and ensure continued excellence.
The assembly underscored the collective efforts and strategic planning required to maintain Qatar's footballing success on both regional and international stages.
