BASRA, Iraq: Khaled Mubarak Al-Kuwari, head of the Qatari media delegation and a member of the Gulf Cup 25 media committee, will participate in the meeting of the media committee scheduled to be held tomorrow on Sunday in Basra.
During the meeting on Sunday, a series of media-related topics will be discussed and appropriate decisions will be finalised, QFA said.
The Qatari media delegation reached Basra on Saturday to attend the Gulf Cup 25 draw scheduled for Tuesday.
The QFA media delegation will also attend a series of meetings that will be held on the sidelines of the draw ceremony.
Also on Tuesday, a meeting of the competition officials and referees committee will take place, QF said.
Al Kuwari is also scheduled to attend the meeting of the media committee and the representatives of the Gulf football federations participating in the tournament, in addition to attending the draw of the 25th Gulf Cup scheduled to be held in Iraq.
The media committee is responsible for many tasks, including: establishing a unified media policy for the championship and conveying its activities through various media by urging the organizations in the participating countries to promote the championship.
The Gulf Cup media committee is also keen to spread the message on teams, players, officials and venues related to the most popular football event of the region.
