DOHA: Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of the Qatar Football Association, received Bernd Neuendorf, President of the German Football Association, in the presence of Hassan Al Thawadi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy. The reception took place on the sidelines of the draw for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which was hosted at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center on Friday. The meeting discussed topics of common interest and the importance of activating them and ways to develop football in the coming period and enhance the frameworks of joint cooperation between the Qatari and German federations. Over the course of the last week, the QFA President met with a number of top-ranking football officials who arrived in Doha to attend the 72nd FIFA Congress. The QFA President met with President of CONCACAF Victor Montagliani, and Secretary-General of CONCACAF Philippe Moggio, in the framework of the distinguished relations between the two presidents and the strategic partnership between the two sides. The QFA President also met with President of the Cuban Football Association Oliet Rodriguez and his accompanying delegation which included Secretary-General Miguel Diaz, and Technical Director Jose Herranz. The QFA President also met the delegation of the South Sudan Football Association, headed by its President Augustino Parek, and included Vice-President Charles Ukech, besides meeting with President of the Sudanese Football Association Dr. Mutassim Jaafar Sarr Al Khatim, and Vice President Osama Abu Baker.
