DOHA: Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of the Qatar Football Association (QFA), received in his office on Thursday Bassam Adeel Jaleel, President of Football Association of Maldives (FAM).
The meeting was also attended by Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Mohannadi, Vice President, QFA.
The visit comes within the framework of the distinguished relations between the two bodies over the years. The two parties signed a cooperation agreement in 2017 where they talked about ways to enhance joint cooperation through the renewal of the agreement.
During the reception on Thursday, QFA and FAM also talked about future relations between the two associations, which would contribute to the development of bilateral relations between them.
The two parties also intent to include more areas of cooperation at all levels.
At the end of the meeting, QFA President presented mementoes to the visiting delegation.
