HOUSTON, Texas: Qatar Football Association (QFA) President on Tuesday met with presedints of CONCACAF Confederation and Panama Football Federation.
During talks with Manuel Arias, President of Panama Football Federation (PFF), and Victor Montagliani, Chief of CONCACAF, QFA President discussed wide ranging topics related to football, 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and matters if mutual interest.
The meeting was aslo attended by Ali Daoud, Executive Director of the QFA Presedint Office and Mushtaq Al Waili, Executive Director of the Strategic and Institutional Planning Office QFA.
The officials agreed in principle to extend cooperation in the field of football in particular and sports in general.
QFA President also apprised visiting officials of Qatar's rise in Asian football during the break of Qatar's match against Panama at the 2021 Gold Cup on Tuesday.
After the meeting, the officials exchanged mementos and posed for pictures.
Asian champions Qatar are participating in Gold Cup for the first time.
They face Honduras and Grenada in the coming days.
