Doha: His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of the Qatar Football Association, received in his office at Al Bidda Alen Simonyan, Head of the parliament of the Republic of Armenia, along with Mr. Armen Sarkissian, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia. The meeting was attended on the Qatari side by Hani Talib Ballan, member of the Executive Committee of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) and CEO of the Qatar Stars League, in addition to Mr. Mansour Al-Ansari, Secretary-General of the QFA and Mr. Ali Dawood, Executive Director of the QFA President’s Office and Mr. Mushtaq Al-Waeli, Executive Director of the Strategic and Institutional Development Office. During the meeting, the two sides addressed issues of mutual interest and methods to strengthen them in various domains in light of Qatar-Armenia ties.
