DOHA: Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of the Qatar Football Association, received Radenko Mijatović, President of the Football Association of Slovenia, on the sidelines of the match between our national team and Slovenia, which ended in a goalless draw at the Education City Stadium on Tuesday night. The match came as part of the international friendlies played in Doha in March, bringing together Qatar, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Croatia.
During the meeting, the officials discussed topics of common interest and the importance of activating them, and also ways to develop mutual relations in the upcoming period to serve football and enhance the frameworks of joint cooperation between the Qatari and Slovenian federations.
During the reception at the QFA headquarters, the two sides also talked about the future and the development of bilateral relations between the federations, to include more areas that will have many fruitful results, which in turn will enhance the continuous success of football in both Qatar and Slovenia, and ensure the development of football at the local and international levels.
