CAIRO: HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of the Qatar Football Association (QFA), visited the headquarters of the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) in Jabalia, within the framework of his visit to Cairo, the capital of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, on Thursday.
The QFA President was received by members of the Board of Directors of the EFA, led by Mr. Gamal Alam, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the EFA.
The meeting was also attended on the Qatari side by Mr. Ali Daoud, Executive Director of the President's Office.
During the reception, they discussed issues of common interest and ways of cooperation between the Qatari and Egyptian federations, which are linked by strong brotherly relations extending over many years.
The Qatari and Egyptian federations aim to invest in the brotherly relations and the distinguished bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, in a way that elevates football to higher horizons, to include more areas that will have many fruitful results at all levels in the coming period, which in turn will enhance the chances of continuous success for football in both countries.
