Doha: At Tuesday's AFC Technical Endorsement Presentation Ceremony in Doha, the AFC presented the Qatar Football Association with endorsement certificates for the AFC Coaching Convention Pro Level, the AFC Elite Youth Scheme 3-Star Level, and the AFC Grassroots Charter Gold Level.
Held in conjunction with the AFC Annual Awards Doha 2022, the ceremony witnessed the AFC President Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa presenting ceremonial ⁰ the Confederation’s breakthrough technical ppp – the AFC Grassroots Charter, the AFC Coaching Convention, and the AFC Elite 0 Scheme.
This privilege was also accorded to the federations of Australia, Japan, and the Republic of Korea.
AFC Technical Director Andy Roxburgh said: “Asia is home to the largest youth population in the world and it is heartening to see our MAs invest so much of their time and resources into player development, both at the grassroots level and in the elite youth sector. In addition, the MA's efforts in coach education, via AFC's Coaching Convention, is commendable and vital for the future of the game.
“These benchmark endorsements not only serve as an impetus to continue building on the hard work, but they also have a long-term impact on their national teams and professional clubs.”
