DOHA: Mansoor Al-Ansari, Secretary-General of the Qatar Football Association, participated in the fifth meeting of the AFC Finance Committee - in his capacity as a member of the Committee.
The meeting was conducted via video communication technology, headed by Mariano Araneta Jr., and in the presence of the AFC Secretary-General Dato Windsor, with all members of the Committee.
Initially, the minutes of the fourth meeting of the Finance Committee held on September 30, 2021, were approved. The agenda of the fifth meeting was reviewed, and many issues were raised for discussion and decision-making, in addition to approving the audited financial statements of the Asian Football Confederation for the fiscal year 2021 and the amended budget for the year 2022.
The meeting also discussed the financial performance on January 31, 2021, and a summary financial statement for the 2021 fiscal year was presented. The meeting also discussed the final round of Asian qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar.
