DOHA: The Electoral Committee of the Qatari Football Federation announced that it will be using electronic voting in the upcoming elections for the President and members of the Executive Committee. The elections will be held on Thursday, as part of the regular general assembly.
The Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Abdullah Hamid Al Mulla, has stated that the electronic voting process is one of the best and latest methods and will save time and effort for the 18 members of the QFA who are eligible to vote.
He also stated that the voting process for President and Committee member positions will not take more than a few minutes for each representative .
According to Al Mulla, the committee thinks it's crucial to use cutting-edge electronics and stay abreast of technological advances in this field. The Information Technology department was commended for their work, and it was noted that the project was ready for use in future elections.
