DOHA: The Development Department of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) held a training workshop headed by Fahd Thani Al-Zaraa, Director of the Development Department.
The goal of the workshop was to help clubs in Qatar identify talented young talents in the Under-12 and Under-11 age brackets. Additionally, Technical supervisors in the Development Department also featured in the workshop.
As Fahd Thani put it, "the approach applied by Qatar through many influential programs is to discover promising talent at an early age, and specialized programs are established to identify and refine them from an early age."
The program emphasized the significance of providing promising youth with access to the highest quality instructional resources.
Fahd Thani's lectures focused on the importance of understanding talent and the process by which amateurs might advance to the professional ranks.
Fahd Thani also discussed the difficulties of doing efficient talent scouting, as well as how the selection of players is impacted by their relative ages.
The workshop is part of the FIFA Global Project for Talent Development in Football, an initiative with lofty goals to improve and develop young talent on a global scale, boost international competition, and increase the number of national teams capable of competing at the highest level.
