Doha: The Referees Department of the Qatar Football Association has announced the names of the referees for the matches of the first round of the 2022-23 QNB Stars League season. The matches will start on Monday, the first of August, with Al Markhiya playing Al Sadd, followed by Umm Salal vs Al Ahli. Two matches will be held on the following day: Al Arabi vs Qatar and then Al Gharafa vs Al Sailiya. The final day of action on Wednesday will see Al Duhail play Al Wakrah and Al Rayyan face off with Al Shamal. The six matches will be held in Khalifa Stadium, Jassim bin Hamad Stadium and Education City Stadium. The refereeing teams for the six matches are named in the following order: the main referee, the first assistant, the second assistant, the fourth official, the VAR referee, and the assistant VAR referee.
