DOHA: Match proceeds from first-round games in Qatar Stars League (QSL) - Al Ahil vs Al Sailiyah and Al Arabi vs Al Khor - will be given to victims of Gaza genocide, this will be announced in detail on Tuesday.
The first-round QSL matches will be held on August 21.
Both the games will be played at Al Arabi Stadium.
The details of the new understanding among football clubs on the matter will be officially given to the media in the presence of Palestinian ambassador to Qatar.
Last month, Al Arabi said it had decided to donate all of their match proceeds in the 2014-15 QSL season to victims of barbarism on Gaza soil.
Hundreds have perished in missile attacks by the oppressive Israeli regime.
According to a note posted on the club's official website, Chairman Hitmi bin Ali Khalifa Al Hitmi and the Board of Directors at Al Arabi Sports Club unanimously decided to forego all match proceeds the club makes in the new season.
