Queiroz highlights importance of Jordan friendly tournament

Amman, Jordan: The national team's coach, the Portuguese Carlos Queiroz, has emphasized the significance of taking part in the Jordan International tournament, which kicks off in the capital city of Amman this coming Friday and runs through the seventeenth of October, with Al Annabi and the teams of Jordan, Iraq, and Iran all taking part. This tournament indeed represents an important opportunity for us on the way to preparing for the Asian Cup and the World Cup joint qualifiers, and we have made adequate preparations to face Iraq and also the second match, which will be against Jordan or Iran, as Queiroz said at the press conference before facing Iraq. He continued, "We have a good team with a new group of players, and what matters to us is that we can construct a team that provides quality performance and achieves results.
