Doha: Salman Al Ansari of Qatar was elected Chairman of the Asian Football Confederation's Appeals Committee today during the Extraordinary General Assembly meeting held via video communication technology, during which the chairmen, vice-chairmen, and members of the judicial bodies (Disciplinary and Ethics Committee, Entry Control Committee, and Appeals Committee) were elected.
Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Asian Football Confederation, presided over the extraordinary meeting, which was attended by Mr. Gianni Infantino, President of FIFA, and the presidents and representatives of the member national associations.
The composition of the AFC Appeals Committee was as follows:
