DOHA: Qatar Football Association (QFA) Vice President Saud Al
Muhannadi has been named Chairman of Competition Committee by the
Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
In another decision announced by the Asian football ruling body, Hani
Balan, Chairman of the Qatar Stars League Management (QSLM), will be
the Deputy Head of the Referees Committee at AFC.
It is worth mentioning that Al Muhannadi is the Chairman of the Asian
Cup to be held in the UAE in 2019.
The two appointments have been made after AFC finalized it's list of
officials who will manage various committees for the next four years
(2015-209).
Al Muhannadi was a member of the Organizing Committee of the 2011
Asian Cup held in Qatar.
Balan has vast experience of managing various committees at Qatar
Stars League (QSL).
He headed the same body at AFC from 2011 to 2015.
