DOHA: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) and Qatar School Sports Association (QSSA) held the School League draw today at Al Bidda Tower.
The draw was conducted by QFA officials and was attended by several representatives from the twenty local schools that are participating in the upcoming tournament this year.
The School League, which was launched last year for the first time, is organised by the QFA and QSSA in collaboration with the Supreme Education Council (SEC), and aims to showcase all three organisations’ commitment to encourage young school students to pursue a healthy lifestyle through playing football.
Hilal Al Mohannadi, Head of Development of the School and University League in QFA commented: “We are very proud to organise the second edition of the School League and are confident we will stage a successful edition this year. We wish all the schools the best of luck this year and look forward to kicking it off again this year.”
