RIYADH: Key midfielderAhmedAbdulmaksoodsaid slick finishing in front of the
goal will help Qatar get the goals after his side played their third
successive draw in the Gulf Cup on Wednesday.
Qatar on Wednesday played out a goalless draw against Bahrain.
Earlier in the tournament Qatar played draws against Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
"The team has played well but we need slick finishing in front of the
goal. Proper finishing will help us get goals," Abdulmaksoodsaid.
He added: "We promise our fans that we will offer our best game in the
semifinals. We cannot afford any more sluggish displays."
Hesaid: "We want to qualify for the final."
The midfielderdenied fatigue was a reason for the team's three consecutive delays.
