DOHA: The Qatar youth side on Saturdaylanded in Thailandfor a training camp in preparation for the Asian Cup to be held in Myanmar in October. The players have been accompanied by backroom staff and the coach. Qatar have two friendlies against Iran on September 18 and 20. Coach Felix Sanchez and assistant coach Abdul Razzaq are also in Thailandfor the week-long training camp. Other officials in the group include Abdul Rahman, Abdullah Saleh Al-Yami and Abdullah Saleh Al Sulaiti. Earlier this month, Qatar Under-19s have been crowned champions of the Aspire international youth tournament after beating Chile in a dramatic penalty shoot-out in the final.
