DOHA: As part of its commitment to providing platforms for the communities to play football in a fun and competitive environment, Qatar Football Association (QFA) announced that it is organising the 3
rd Asian Communities Football Tournament which will kick-off on Thursday, 5
th March and will see twelve teams competing for the championship title.
The action-packed tournament is set to take place at QFA’s Football Development pitches from Thursday 5
th March until Friday 8
th May.
The opening matches will commence at 8pm with Jordan facing Lebanon and Indonesia facing Nepal.
The opening matches will be attended by a number of Asian ambassadors to show their continued support to their communities and the tournament. The twelve ambassadors that will attend the opening matches are:

- Malaysian Ambassador to Qatar, H.E. Mr. Datuk Mohamed Johar
- Lebanese Ambassador to Qatar, H.E. Mr. Hassan Najem
- Jordanian Ambassador to Qatar, H.E. Mr. Zahi Al Samadi
- Nepalese Ambassador to Qatar, H.E. Mr. Ganesh Prasad Dhakal
- Sri Lankan Ambassador to Qatar, H.E. Mr. Jayantha Palipane
