DOHA: Qatar coach Felix Sanchez has added two players to the Olympic
squad, it was announced on Thursday.
The three players will join the squad currently present at Manchester
for a training camp from September 1 to 9
Qatar, coached by Sanchez, are preparing for theU-23 Asian Cup as
well as the West Asian Championship.
Goalie Satea’ Abassi and Al Gharafa’s Abdulrahman Al Rashidi are
the players set to join the squad.
In England, Qatar will take on Ireland on September 4 followed by a
game against the U.S. national side on September 8.
Qatar squad has landed in Manchester on September 1.
The players will return to their club duties after the completion of
the training camp, QFA said.
