DOHA: AC Milan made it through to the semi-finals of the Al Kass International Cup following a greatly impressive 3-2 win against highly touted Kashiwa Reysol. The 2014 edition of the Al Kass Cup has featured some of the most feted names in world football, including Real Madrid, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and FC Barcelona. However, when assessing the potential of the youth teams who have lit up this tournament, it is clear that Reysol’s 1998 generation deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as their more storied contemporaries. Having gone 2-0 down, the Italians came back strongly in the second half, with goals from Niccolo Zanellato, Michele Spinelli, and El Hilali overturning a daunting deficit. Fully deserving of their win, the Rossoneri showed fantastic fighting spirit following a solid first half performance from Kashiwa Reysol.
