DIOHA:The 16th Round action in the Qatargas U-23 League produced exciting results after the victory of Al Sadd and Al Gharafa.
In other matches, Al Rayyan and Umm Salal also managed wins.
Al Sadd continued their victories in the Qatargas U-23 League by beating Al Arabi 2-1 at Al Shamal Stadium.
Al Sadd's goals were scored by Talal Behzad (88) and Al Badil Hassan Ahmed (90). Ahmed Salim Hajjaj scored in the 62nd minute.
Al Gharafa posted 1-0 win over Al Duhail. The only goal was scored by Abdulrahman Al-Rashidi (17th minute) at Al Sailiya Stadium.
In a one-sided win, Al Rayyan beat Al Kharaitiyat 11-1.
The goals came through Al-Makki Al-Tanbari (31 and 53), Khaled Ali (34 and 49), Tamim Mansour (32), Hadi Ali (59), Muhammad Talib Afifa (11 and 16), Ali Al-Yazidi (71), Omar Adel (81) and Muhammad Abdel Fattah (87).
The only goal for Al Kharaitiyat was scored by Khaled Saif Al-Hajri (6).
The 16th round achieved a record number of goals with a total number of 16 goals.
The Qatargas U-23 League top scorer is Nasser Issa Al-Enzi, the Al-Gharafa player, with 13 goals, followed by Hassan Balank, Al-Sadd 11, and Tamim Mansour Al-Rayyan 8.
The 17th round matches will be held on the next Wednesday and Thursday.
