DOHA: Qatar Football Association (QFA) has kicked off a coaching
course that targets under-19 goalkeepers. The course is being
organised in association with world governing body FIFA.
The course will last for five days before concluding on December 10. A
total of 28 coaches representing clubs in Qatar are featuring in the
course.
French international lecturer Alexander Ivencil is leading the speeches.
Mohammed Haidoos opened the course with a brief speech highlight the
importance of the course.
Yusuf Ahmed, Maher Bayrakdar Fawzi Bashir and Ben Amer were also present.
Haidoos urged the coaches to focus on the lectures delivered at the
course. Haidoos said QFA is staging the course to help young coaches
learn the finer points of goalkeeping.
He also thanked the French lecturer in helping the young coaches.
Alxander thanked QFA for their hospitality and said he was 'delighted
to be in Qatar for the course'.
