Kuala Lumpur: Football fans across Asia are to be offered a unique invitation to join the Asian Football Confederation's (AFC) consultation process to deliver a new Vision and Mission for the AFC, which will help shape the game on the continent.
The AFC's process has already involved the organisation's Executive Committee and late last week the Member Associations were asked to contribute.
Today all Asian football’s stakeholders are to be offered their opportunity to have a say in the direction of the game on the continent – whether they are leagues, clubs, players, coaches, referees or football fans.
Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, the AFC President, said: "The AFC has made great strides forward in the last couple of years and the preparation of a new Vision and Mission for the organisation is the next step.
“It is important that the AFC Executive Committee have had a chance to discuss their ideas for the future development of the game in Asia and now it is the turn of the Member Associations and all key stakeholders and football lovers.”
