DOHA: The Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation (AGCFF) on Monday held a consultative meeting at the headquarters of the AGCFF in Doha.
The meeting was chaired by HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Thani, president of Qatar Football Association and AGCFF.
The participants welcomed the transfer of the 23rd Gulf Cup to the State of Kuwait after FIFA lifted suspension imposed on Kuwait's football association.
The consultative meeting discussed the formation of an AGCFF delegation to visit Kuwait in order to inspect the preparations for hosting the 23rd Gulf Cup which is scheduled to be held from 22 December to 5 January 2018.
Results of the draw, previously approved in September, were also reviewed.
