DOHA: The Qatar Stars League (QSL) on Wednesday declared Yousif Adam
as the Best Coach while Meshal Abdullah was named the Best Player for
the month of March.
Adam, who had represented Qatar as a centre back for over a decade, helped
Al Ahli win two matches over Umm Salal 4-2 and Al Arabi 3-1 before subsequently
losing to Al Sailiya.
Abdullah, who captained Qatar in Tuesday’s qualifier in China, has been
in sensation form for Al Ahli, registering a 91.3 score on the Prozone
football analysis system, the highest for a Qatar Stars League player this
month.
The international striker has scored 4 goals in 3 appearances this month.
