DOHA: Al Gharafa on Thursday beat Mesaimeer
2-0 to reach the fourth round of the Emir Cup.
Al Gharafa scored the two goals in the 35th and 38th minutes. Mesaimeer attempted to play in attacking mode in the second half but the Panthers held firm to grab the much-needed win. With this result, Al Gharafa have qualified to face Al Rayyan on May 3 in a much awaited quarter-final match.
