In another game, Umm Salal piled more misery on Al Wakrah as they defeated them 2-1. Tuncay Sanli put Umm Salal ahead in the 22nd while Pejman Mohammadreza made it 2-0 in the 72nd. Reza pulled one back in the 89th. Al Khor defeated Al Shahaniya 3-2. Julio Cesar (15th and 77th) netted a brace while Madson scored the other goal in the 76th. Fahad Khalfan Al Balooshi (42nd) and Mahmoud Mohamed (66th) found the target for the losers. Elsewhere, Al Ahli put it past Al Shamal. Meshaal Abdullah (29th and 65th) and Alain Dioko (42nd) scored for Ahli while Maher Haddad (45th) and Moumouni Dagano (81st) found the target for Shamal.
