DOHA: Al Kharaitiyat beat Al Khor 4-3 to win to win the Beach Soccertitle at Al Gharafa Sports Club.
Al Arabi finished in third spot after beating Al Shamal in a penalty shootout. In regulation time, both teams were tied 2-2.
In the final, Al Kharaitiyat finished the first half 2-1 but the winners upped the ante in the final half.
Mubarak Almuhaize, captain of Al Kharaitiyat, sparkled in the second half to lead his team to victory.
At the presentation ceremony, medals and trophies were given to the players of the top four sides.
In the semifinals, Al Kharaitiyat beat Al Arabi while Al Khor downed Al Shamal.
The tournament kicked off on the 18th of February. A total of 13 teams featured in the event.
Official Salem Al Eida said: "The tournament has achieved great success. We were thrilled to see the involvement of all players."
He added: "I would like to say the organisers did a great job as well. The future of this event is bright. The players have shown great commitment."
