DOHA: Al Rayyan Chairman Sheikh Saud bin Khalid Al Thani on Tuesday
met with QFA President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani and
discussed matters of football development in the country.
Khalifa Khamis Al Sulaiti, QFA Board Member, was also present in the
meeting that saw the officials discussing ways and means to develop
the game further in Qatar.
QFA President congratulated Sheikh Saud on Al Rayyan's emphatic Qatar
Stars league (QSL) title win earlier this month.
QFA President said Al Rayyan's form in the current season left nobody
in doubt that coach Jorge Fossati's team is the best in the country at
the moment.
Sheikh Saud assured of Al Rayyan's full support to QFA in its quest to
to propel Qatari football ahead of several key dates in the nearfuture.
