DOHA: Al Rayyan edged Arch-rivals Al Sad 2-1 in the final match of the Qatar Football Association Futsal Cup. The game was played at Qatar Sports Club Indoor Hall. Al Sadd closed the first half with a 1-0 lead thanks to a Ali Mania’s goal. Despite missing numerous opportunities to score, Al Rayyan and Al Sadd maintained a fast pace in the game. Al Rayyan hit back in the second half by scoring two goals to close out a memorable win. At presentation ceremony, the organizing committee honoured the match commissioner, the ‎game referees before turning to the two teams. Al Sadd team players and officials received the silver medals whereas Al Rayyan got the gold medals.
